Thirtyfour : A Launch for the Press and Media



Thirtyfour lauches its latest leather collection
Design practice thirtyfour creates an event with a different perspective

Kuala Lumpur, 18 Nov-Malaysian design practice thirtyfour, unveiled its latest leather bags and accessories collection, thirtyfour collection03 at an event designed to showcase the brands journey over the past 18 months.


The event held at Chin Woo Stadium in Kuala Lumpur and special first viewers were all the Press and Media, by invitation only. It was conceptualized in line with thirtyfour's design pillars of unique constructions and explorations out of the ordinary. The stadium transformed and creating a labyrinth of three different rooms that housed the lastest collection by thirtyfour.



About designers:
Both designers with degrees from New York and England respectively and 20 years of work experience spanning across America, Europe and Asia.
ShueenKee aged 29, has a degree in Metal Smithing fron the Parsons School of Design in New York and 8 years of experience in various design houses in New York and Hong Kong. Linda aged 33 has trained in industrial design and design management at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD) in UK.

thirtyfour is an interdisciplinary design practice and lifestyle initiative, the brainchild of its founders and cousins ShueenKee Chong and Linda Chong. Its current design pool weaves together methods from fields such as architecture, metal-smithing, fashion, industrial, graphic, and interactive multimedia design.

RM25 Mania & Pavilion Shopping Spree

The RM 25 Mania

Nowadays, you don't really have to pay RM500 for a great looking jeans or tops. Sungei Wang Plaza have so many affordable & fashionable boutiques to help you look great as well as not drying up your purse and wallet for the guys. There are more and more boutiques with this RM25 concept in Malaysia. A million different kind of clothing designs for you to choose from. You name it, dresses, tops for casual & work, jeans, dinner dresses and cool t-shirt prints! Best part of these boutiques are that most of their collection always changes once the stock is finish and never will they bring back the same type of clothing. To avoid meeting someone with the same outfit by the street of course... (how embarrassing!)

Dressing up like Paris Hilton can be difficult for some people (like me) because she is among the riches heiress in the world and moreover she is hot!
